Iranian Aerobatic Team

Don't know if this is a good or bad thing but this reminds me alot of the Thunderbirds lol.

Why wouldn't it be a good thing that they remind you of the Thunderbirds?

I think the Iranians have always had very good pilots -- they should anyway, our instructor pilots trained them. I wish that FSX had more international representation, I would love to see someone try to do an Iranian team. Some of my father's most vivid memories of flying with the Skyblazers are from when the team was in Iran flying air shows for the Shah and the Iranian people. Did the Thunderbirds ever fly any shows in Iran?

Also, if you guys didn't pick up June's copy of Combat Aircraft there is a great article in there about current Iranian fighter pilots who are flying F-4E Phantoms. The squadron has recently adopted the tiger-teeth markings of the U.S. 469th TFS from vietnam..... I must say, the teeth look amazing. I believe the article is called "The Sharks of Bashir" and it is really worth reading. The professionalism of those pilots would make you very proud of the international fraternity of combat pilots.

I didn't say that it was bad I just couldn't decide at the moment. And I agree with you I respect quite a few international Air Force's.
