A very Thunderbird style diamond but your formation skills are exceptional.

Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
I have to agree with Duke, the diamond part was a bit like the good ol' Thunderbirds, but I can't complain with the flying I just seen in this video... Super Great Job Man!!
Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
Thanks guys!
Actually I made all the tracks alone in 5 days, and I am most a Patrouille de France fan than a BA fan , so I know that there are some errors in my flying, I don't even know the name of the aerobatics!
But I think that the wingmen in the Thunderbirds formation are on the same level than their boss, no?
You are the experts...I am not sure!
Anyway thank you, it's a pleasure to see your messages!

When you mean level, if you mean the same altitude as Boss, then no, both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels fly slightly lower that boss in the Pass in Review or the Diamond 360. And in the Blue Angels case, they have to obviously fly lower to fit under the wings to maintain that 12"-18" wingtip separation.
Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
OK, thanks for the information!
But sometimes on FSX the camera can't be too close to the aircraft because this one disappears, so I had to place the camera not exactly as on the Blue Angels videos...that's maybe why (one of the reasons I'd say ) it looks more like Thunderbirds...but as I said I am convinced that you're right, my formation was not perfect!!!
See you soon, and good flight to all the team!

Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
It doesn't have anything to do with the altitude of the Blue Angel's Diamond in your fantastic video that is making it look a bit like the Thunderbirds. It actually has to do with the separation you have between then. As you can see, the Blue Angels fly under the wing of the boss, and as the Thunderbirds they fly side-to-side of the boss: This is just my personal opinion, but I like the T-Birds diamond a whole lot more than the Blues. To me it just looks neater, but those Blue Angels can still throw out a heck of a show with that tight diamond!
Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
The Blue Angels are not always flying under the wing:

Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
The first two was the Delta Formation. For the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds the diamond fly's a different separation. I'm sorry that I don't have the correct measures for them, but please understand that the diamond fly's a bit different while having the two solos on their wings. The last picture you have a good point on. In my guess I would have to say that the picture of that Blue Angel diamond could have been early in the year. That being said since it's earlier in the year, the pilots do not have that much experience with tight formation aerobatics so they fly more separated until they become more familiar with the different kind of flying. For video proof of this, check this out, it's the Blue Angels in the early stage of their training.
Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
The Blue Angels, doing training they fly loose cause of the new pilots, but once they get use to all the maneuvers, and feel like they can fly tighter they will bring it in. I agree with Burst, i like the Thunderbirds Diamond way better then the Blues, because it looks perfect. The Blue Angels have a tight Diamond, and that's what make's their show amazing, but i'm a air force fan so.....

Grab,
We never said anything bad about the video, we just stated our opinions on the video. The video was great, i loved it.
Edit: Also with FSX Recorder it's hard to fly that tight without any lag......

Re: FSX-Blue Angels!!!
Ok people, never mind... It seems we have people that have no idea what I talking about, or they just plain can't read and can't pay attention Final statement by Burst: "The video was fantastic, as said many times. Keep it up, I want to see more QuentinLFFE!"

Hey Burst!
When I wrote "knock it off" I just meant that I didn't want you to argue!
But I know that you enjoyed my video, I'm just giving my technical point of view!
Bye bye!
