joystick help
my saitek aviator has been having problems. i have had it for 2 or 3 years now it will show it is connected but won't respond, any fixes

I think it's time for a new joystick I get a new one every year, or every time when mines breaks..

You might check to see if there is a driver update.
But 2-3 years on a saitek aviator? It's no B-52 -- can't fly forever.

I never liked the aviator. Apparently the aviator has a hardware problem where when the stick is centered, you're pulling up and to the right. The only reason I kept it is to use the throttles and keep the extra buttons. So I guess I'm just saying don't even bother.... ?

don't worry i screwed in some loose screws on the circut board and tapped i the inside a bit and it worked!
