2011 Team Applications
Applications for some positions in 2011 are now open. These are for #7, #9, and #10. Please read carefully the descriptions of the job and how to send in the application. Yes you are able to be on more than one team as long as it does not interfere with what we do.
Thunderbird 7 - Formally known as the operations officer, this person will be given the job of planning all Thunderbird flights away from practice as well as planning air shows for the season. This can be a hectic job around air show time and will require full attention to make sure everything happens according to plan. This is a flying position however the aircraft will not be given immediately.
Thunderbird 9 - This person will still carry the title of "flight surgeon" although that is not exactly needed for flightsim, so the job of Thunderbird 9 for this team will be our team spotter. They will help with keeping the show running as it should be seen from the ground. This also means that you will be the teams’ live-streamer for the show; this means that being able to stream smoothly will be a requirement in the applicant process.
Thunderbird 10 - The "executive officer" works closely with the teams PAO in talking to the public; however, the job deals more with those helping the FSX Thunderbirds talk to closely related people. You will keep contact with other groups that the team works with as well as other demo teams (i.e. the FSX Blue Angels). You will also assist organizing team meetings and keeping the team on notice of important dates and scheduling.
All Apps will be sent to fsxtbapps@live.com with the title “Thunderbird ## (your first name)”
This is the application you will need to send:
Gamespy ID:
D.O.B. (MM/YY):
Any previous/current FS teams:
Days/time available:
Callsign:
(If applying for #9) how many FPS do you receive on high settings?
Reason for wanting to join:

Like clay said, basically all of your settings on high and getting a solid 30 fps minimum. 60fps would be better.
Another thing that you need is a good internet connection. If you have a low connection then your frames don't even matter. The FPS are just so the stream looks good and you don't get any lag while looking around in sim. To stream smoothly you need a good upload, not the highest FPS.

I think since your on the FSX Patriots, Virtual Flying Racers, and running a new solo team, that could interfere with the team. I think you should wait and be patience instead of posting post after post.

Just for your information, if your planning to join a big team like this then you really need to work on your spelling and grammar. Not trying to put you down or anything, but spelling is one thing that everybody gotta do. I had to work on it before i ever joined the team...

Ohhh, Okay, so is this your current condition right now? Or will you be on 5 more teams before the end of the week? You know "Shamrock" you have been making this community look like a battalion of idiots. You have planned around 5 air shows since you sadly showed up in this community and are the laughing stock of not only the entire FSX arena, but also the LOMAC community and IL2. I cant think of a team that you haven't applied for. You seem to think that your the god of not only formation flight but also leading, your Skype information says: "The best leader and formation flier in lockon FC2 and FSX" Yet you have never been in a public demo or on a team for more than 1 month. Your dedication blows, you couldn't dedicate to your own team without having to face the troubles that are bound to come with leading a team before bailing out and putting the blame or stress on your twin brother "Phantom" (if he even exists).
Your the biggest moron I have ever met, your grammar sucks worse than my dog's would. I have to read out every sentence you write word by word. I remember things like this being written in my kindergarten. A mature conversation cant be held with you long until it turns into useless hoodlum mumbling, You have been banned or been placed under watch by several teamspeak servers. I try to hold a mature conversation with you and its always a matter of time before you start in with the per-kindergarten type writings, that’s if your writing is even legible (that means read-able ). You have proven time and time again that you are more of a virus to the community than an asset, or even a "refutable Pilot" for that matter. Your impossible to work with and I don't know of one person who thinks or you as a skilled individual.
But id have to say what gets me the most is how conceded you are; you think that we should bow down to you just because you own FSX and LOMAC. I’ve seen your formation before, its mediocre at best; I think a baby would have a better shot on getting in the Diamondbacks than you, or any team for that matter. Your leading is laughable and every person you have ever worked with has regretted it. Not only that, but are you really a 19-yr old guy living on his own working at Target? Ha, id be shocked if your were. But then again, Id be shocked if you knew what the shift button on your key board meant.
So why don’t you do us all a favor and begin by ending all of the BS and start acting like a mature individual. Because it would be a hugs mistake on any teams part to regretfully accept someone as un-skilled as you.
