FYI when u land on a carrier you don't flare.

Flaring is when you land you pull up slightly so your back wheels touch 1st, but in naval Aviation the F/A-18 has a strong enough landing gear they don't need to do that....

Really if you flared and grabbed those cables you will have a pretty hard front gear hit on that deck Very Happy But cool shots, its nice to see our family neighbors sims sometimes, personally never owned 2002 but those don't look quite bad!
