FYI when u land on a carrier you don't flare.

Flaring is when you land you pull up slightly so your back wheels touch 1st, but in naval Aviation the F/A-18 has a strong enough landing gear they don't need to do that....

Really if you flared and grabbed those cables you will have a pretty hard front gear hit on that deck 
But cool shots, its nice to see our family neighbors sims sometimes, personally never owned 2002 but those don't look quite bad!
